Stepstone Academy uses Stepstone Momentum Learning™, a blended learning model that combines traditional, teacher-led instruction with online instruction where students can work on their own learning path at their own pace. During the 60 minute class period, the students are placed into 3 groups: the group table where they receive face-to-face instruction from the teacher; the project-based learning table where students work in teams to complete an exercise; and the computers, where they complete an interactive exercises. Project based and computer groups are supervised by the second classroom teacher. The 3 groups have 20 minutes at each station, until all three stations are completed at the end of the period.
